ALL returning students in the Haysville School District will enroll online. Kindergarten students who attended Kindergarten Round-Up will also enroll online. Enrollment instructions will be mailed the last week in June and the enrollment process will begin July 1 and should be completed and fees paid by July 31, 2014. Payment may be made online or returned by mail or in person to the Administration Office. Any outstanding fees must be paid prior to enrollment. USD 261 accepts the following forms of payment: cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard & Discover).
No computer or internet access at home? No problem….computers and printers are available for enrollment at these public locations: USD 261 Administration Building, 1745 W. Grand, from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday, July 8 – 25 and 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday after July 30. Haysville Community Library, 210 S. Hays, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday and 1 – 4 p.m., Sunday.
Students New To The District
Families new to the District should come to the USD 261 Administration Building at 1745 W. Grand in Haysville for address verification (see accepted documents below). Students will then be entered into PowerSchool (our student information system) to begin the online enrollment process.
Documents needed for enrollment include a copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence in the Haysville School District.
Age & Residence Requirements To Attend USD 261
Age requirements to enroll in school are: Kindergarten: 5 years old on/before August 31; First Grade: 6 years old on/before August 31.
Acceptable proof of residence includes a current utility bill (gas, water or electric) showing the parent’s or guardian’s name or a current rental or purchase agreement. For proof of residence, we cannot accept driver’s license, check, cell phone bill, cable bill, any other kind of non-utility bill or letter.
